The goal of H.O.P.E. is to assist recently widowed men and women in evolving through the natural stages of grief.
H.O.P.E., designed by Grief Counseling Professionals, who have also lost their mates, is staffed and run by trained volunteers, all past participants, who care about helping others.
EDUCATION
H.O.P.E. brings people together in weekly meetings to offer help in dealing
with the day-to-day problems.
Included may be expert speakers to address topics such as:
Money Management
Social Security Benefits
Legal Matters
Health and Personal Safety
Nutrition
GROWTH
The H.O.P.E. program strives to instill self-confidence and self-reliance to newly widowed persons and to help them set and achieve new goals in life. H.O.P.E. fulfills its goals by offering both practical and emotional counseling.
H.O.P.E. sessions are offered four times a year for a period of ten weeks each at the following locations:
Burlington County - Marlton, Moorestown, Pemberton
Camden County - Cherry Hill, Collingswood, Lindenwold
Gloucester County - Mantua
Mercer County - Lawrenceville
Although a modest registration fee for each 10-week session is requested, donations are always encouraged and gratefully accepted.
